George ?Everett? Watson, 94, of Fairfield, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.??

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. Burial, with a flag presentation, will be at Evergreen Cemetery.??

Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.??

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor?s choice. Cards may be sent to 3000 W. Madison Ave., Room 313, Fairfield 52556.??

Mr. Watson was born June 13, 1917, in Stockport, the son of Orla and Lena Tomkins Watson. He married Doris Irene Heckenberg March 9, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo. She survives.??

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter: Judy Buttery and husband Dan of Fairfield; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister: Crystal Westercamp of New London. ?
