George L. Horning
RICHLAND - George L. Horning, 83, of rural Keota died Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2005, at Gould Funeral Home in Richland with the Rev. Sallie Graves officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery, with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 504. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m., Friday, July 15, at the funeral home, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. A general memorial has been established.
Mr. Horning was born Jan. 25, 1922, on the family homestead between Richland and Keota to George Dewey and Ethel Mae (Brown) Horning.
