George L. Tucker

      George L. Tucker, age 88, a longtime resident of Fairfield, went to be with the Lord Sunday September 7, 2008 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

      Family visitation will be 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday September 9, 2008 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, IA.

      Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m. Wednesday September 10, 2008 at Behner Funeral Home with Rev. Paul R. Tucker officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

      George was born on May 24, 1920 in Jefferson County to George C. and Nina (Lawson) Tucker. On October 19, 1946 he was united in marriage to Alma Elizabeth Lang in Chicago IL.
