George N. Gingerich
George N. Gingerich, 77, of rural Iowa City, died Friday, March 21, 2003, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 25 at 11:30 a.m. at First Mennonite Church in Iowa City with the Rev. Bob Richer-Smith and the Rev. Mag Richer-Smith officiating. Burial will be in South Gingerich Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation began this morning and will continue this evening at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Family will be present from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established for Prison Fellowship Ministries and First Mennonite Church.
