George 'Nick' Nicholson
LONE TREE - George "Nick" Nicholson, 76, of Lone Tree, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.
Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 27, at Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree, with the Rev. Joe Gardener officiating. Private family burial will be in Swank Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Iowa State Fair Restoration Program or the American Cancer Society.
