George Statler
KALONA - George Statler, 61, of rural Washington, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, on I-80 and Highway 141 in Polk County from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.
Funeral services will be determined by his son Brandon's release from the hospital. For more information call the Peterseim Funeral home at 656-5200. Memorials may be made to the George Statler Family Fund for charities to be decided by the family.
Mr. Statler was born May 19, 1947 in Washington, the son of Donald and Esther (Parcel) Statler. He married Ruth Nisly on Nov. 27, 1970 in Washington County.
