George William Lewis
WEST LIBERTY - George William Lewis, 76, of rural Atalissa, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, at his home as a result of acute leukemia.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 5. Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery in West Liberty. Memorials may be sent to Cedar Valley United Methodist Church, Heifer Project International, or a cause of the donor's choosing.
Mr. Lewis was born Aug. 31, 1929, to Raymond L. and Marjorie (Williams) Lewis in Iowa City. He married Anna Leichty on July 21, 1990 in Wayland.
