Georgiana Louise Wilson

      Georgiana Louise Wilson, 96, of West Point and formerly of Bonaparte, died at 2:25 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at the West Point Care Center.

      The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. Dave Callen officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Bonaparte Cemetery. Memorials to the Bonaparte Cemetery may be left at the funeral home.

      Mrs. Wilson was born March 16, 1904, in Bonaparte, the daughter of George W. Meredith and Anna H. Rehkoff. She lived in the same house where she was born until moving to the West Point Care Center in 1997. She married Wm. Valasco Wilson Dec. 18, 1936, and worked in the Bonaparte Glove Factory for 45 years. She was a member of the West Point Presbyerian Church.

      Survivors include a daughter-in-law Jewell Wilson of Hillsboro, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother, a son, and two great-grandchildren.
