Gerald Becker

Gerald "Gerry" Dennis Becker, 52, of Burlington, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died at 5:06 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

      The funeral service was at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22 at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Randall Gearhart officiating. Burial will be in Columbus City Cemetery in Columbus City at a later date.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Lisa Michelle and her husband Aron Shepler of Fort Madison; two stepdaughters, Julie and her husband Jason Lemon of Burlington, and Jill and her husband Larry Royer of Glidden; a stepson, Lloyd and his wife Heather Duncan of Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren, 10 stepgrandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; and his mother of Mt. Pleasant.

      He was preceded in death by his father.
