Gerald C. Anderson

      BRIGHTON - Gerald C. Anderson, 85, of rural Brighton, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, in Park Place in Mount Pleasant.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, in the Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville, with the Rev. Wayne Wilkin officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery adjacent to the church. Visitation in the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton will open at 4 p.m. Friday, where the family will be present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Hope Lutheran Church or for the Kids Against Hunger Ministry.

      Mr. Anderson was born on April 23, 1922, in Salina, the son of Carl J. and Maude (Krumboltz) Anderson. He married Edith Zihlman on Feb. 27, 1946, in Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville.
