Gerald C. Smith Sr.
SOUTH ENGLISH - Gerald C. Smith Sr., 66, of rural South English, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, with the Rev. Edwin Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Keota Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Keokuk County.
Mr. Smith was born June 12, 1938, in Iowa City, to Lester and Edna (Clark) Smith. On Dec. 23, 1972, he married Roberta Bushore in Keota.
