Gerald Rotenburger

      Gerald 'Bo' Rotenburger, 51, of West Chester, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, at his home.

      Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemetary in rural Kalona.

      Gerald Rotenburger was born Jan. 15, 1956 in Iowa City, the son of Leonard and Lela Rotenburger. On Jan. 14, 1976, he married Gina Wasson at Wellman. He attended Mid-Prairie High School and worked as a laborer, also serving in the U.S. Navy.

      He is survived by his wife; his son, Travis Rotenburger of West Chester; his daughter, Tammy Rotenburger of Crawfordsville; his sisters, Sharon McDougal of Kalona, Donna Fanita and her husband Joe of Kalona, Jane Gatlin and her husband Don of Richmond and Lucille Rotenburger of Kalona; his brother, Jim Rotenburger and his wife Jackie of Trenton; and his mother-in-law, one sister-in-law and one brother-in-law.

      He is preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, one sister-in-law and three brothers-in-law.
