Geraldine ?Gerry? M. Schlabaugh

KALONA ? Geraldine ?Gerry? M. Schlabaugh, 90, of Kalona, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, in the Pleasantview Home in Kalona following a lingering illness.

    Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in rural Kalona with the Rev. Don Patterson and the Rev. Dick Swartzendruber officiating. Burial will follow at the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for the Pleasantview Home or Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church.

    Mrs. Schlabaugh was born Aug. 13, 1920, in rural Wellman, the daughter of Henry and Lillian (Miller) Swartzendruber. She married Delmar ?Shorty? Schlabaugh on Oct. 26, 1945, at the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church.
