Geraldine (Gerry) Margaret Rezac

    KEOTA ? Geraldine (Gerry) Margaret Rezac, 92, of Keota, died Saturday, May 23, 2009, in Maplewood Manor in Keota.

    A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 28, in the Holy Trinity Parish ? St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota with the Rev. Bernie Weir officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick?s Cemetery in Nevada. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Memorials may be made to the Holy Trinity Parish or the Iowa City Hospice. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Rezac was born Aug. 25, 1916 in East Lancaster Township, Keokuk County, the daughter of Mathias and Mary (Conrad) Osweiler. She married Vincent Moroney on February 1937, in Marshalltown. He died Dec. 22, 1970. She later married Frank J. Rezac on April 22, 1972. He died Feb. 18, 1981.
