Geraldine McGill

      COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Geraldine McGill, 93, of Decatur, Ill., formerly of rural Muscatine, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2009.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, in the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction with the Rev. Kimberly Bowles officiating. Burial will be in the Indian Creek Cemetery. Following the committal service, a time of food and fellowship will be held in the Island United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Grandview Park Fund and to the Indian Creek Cemetery.

      Mrs. McGill was born Jan. 18, 1916 in Letts, the daughter of John Walter and Iva Flora (Orr) Kemp. She married William Rollie Canady on Dec. 10, 1938 in Norgalles, Ariz. He died in 1943. She married Earl Wayne McGill in 1946. He died in 1970.
