Gertrude R. Pollpeter

      Gertrude R. Pollpeter, 95, of West Point, died at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at the West Point Care Center.

      Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 24, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Apo T. Mpanda as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in West Point.

      Visitation begins at noon on Thursday at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in West Point, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. that evening. A Daughters of Isabella Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m., and a wake service at 7:30 p.m.

      A memorial has been established to the St. Mary's Catholic Church and Calvary Cemetery.

      Born Oct. 10, 1910 in Ipswich, S. D., she was the daughter of William Albert and Mary Wellman Boeding.
