Gilbert Conrad Meierotto, 75, of Salem, died at 1:32 p.m. Saturday, May 26, at his home.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at the St. John's Catholic Church in Houghton, where a rosary will be recited at 3 p.m., and the family will meet friends from 5:30-7 p.m. There will be a Christian Wake Service at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, at the church, with the Rev. Apo Mpanda officiating. A memorial has been established for the St. John's Catholic Church or the Hospice of Central Iowa. Online condolences may be made at: barrmemorialchapel.com. The Barr Memorial Chapel in Ft.
