Gladys A. Kron

      RIVERSIDE - Gladys A. Kron, 83 of Riverside, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, at the Atrium Village in Hills, following a brief illness.

      A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside, with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Riverside. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 3 to 7 p.m., with a 4 p.m. Rosary and a 7 p.m. prayer service, at Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Riverside. A memorial fund has been established for the Riverside First Responders and the Hills First Responders.

      Mrs. Kron was born on Jan. 20, 1921, in Washington County, to Simon and Hortense (Bulger) Metz. On Sept. 29, 1941, she married Ambrose Kron in Riverside.
