Gladys Bernice Hathcock Billingsly

      COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Gladys Bernice Hathcock Billingsly, 73, of Columbus Junction, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 25, at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction, with the Rev. Linda Baldwin officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, July 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A general memorial has been established. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery. Following committal services, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Columbus Junction American Legion.

      Mrs. Billingsly was born Jan. 24, 1932, in Gamaliel, Ark., to Robert and Nancy (Gillette) Hathcock. She married Luther I. Billingsly in Arkansas on Aug. 5, 1948.
