Gladys Irene Hollander

      FAIRFIELD - Gladys Irene Hollander, 82, of Fairfield, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, in Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, in the First Lutheran Church ELCA in Fairfield with the Rev. Marvin Robeck officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be form 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church of Hospice of Central Iowa.

      Mrs. Hollander was born May 20, 1926, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Orval R. and Elsie May (Alter) VanWinkle. She married Clair Virgil Hollander on Sept. 4, 1947 in Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville.
