Gladys Irene Hollander

      Gladys Irene Hollander, 82, of Fairfield, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church ELCA in Fairfield, with the Rev. Marvin Robeck officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

      Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

      Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church or Hospice of Central Iowa.

      Mrs. Hollander was born May 20, 1926, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Orval R. and Elsie May Alter VanWinkle. She married Clair Virgil Hollander Sept. 4, 1947, at Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville.
