Gladys M. Bennett March 4, 1907 - September 13, 2005

      Gladys M. Bennett, 98, of Mt. Pleasant died on Tuesday, September 13, 2005, at Arbor Court in Mt. Pleasant.

      Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005 at noon at the Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.  Visitation with family present will be from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.  Following the service there will be a time of fellowship at the United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.  A memorial has been established and may be left at the funeral home.

      She is survived by two daughters, Janet Bennett and Carolyn Manly both of Minneapolis, Minn.; and two sons, Leroy Bennett of Minneapolis, Minn. and Allan Bennett of Gallup, N.M.;  Nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter Margaret "Midge" and one son Paschal "Pooch" Jr.; six brothers and four sisters.
