Gladys M. Burns
Gladys M. Burns, 102, of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, Dec. 6, at Park Place Long Term Care Unit in Mt. Pleasant.
Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Kimzey Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Pat Youngquist officiating. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
Memorials have been established for First United Methodist Church and the Park Place Activity Fund.
She was born Sept. 9, 1906 in rural Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of G. Frank and Nettie Canby Barr.
