Gladys M. Fisher
KALONA - Gladys M. Fisher, 86, of Wellman, formerly of Kalona, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, with the Rev. Beth Miller officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Family visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for Kalona City Park.
Mrs. Fisher was born on Oct. 31, 1918, in Kalona, to George and Mamie (Bishop) Maxwell. On Feb. 4, 1938, she married Joseph Fisher in Washington.
