Gladys Mae Hills

Gladys Mae Hills, 94, of Mt. Pleasant, died following a lengthy illness Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at her home.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Dr. Jerry Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 2 p.m. at the funeral home Friday, Dec. 3, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to the Mt. Pleasant Public Library.

Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Hills and Betty and her husband Ralph Breazeale, all of Mt. Pleasant; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Hills of Cedar Rapids; a stepson, Frank Hills of Donnellson; and four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Hills; three brothers and two sisters.
