Gladys Marie Horesowsky

      LONE TREE - Gladys Marie Horesowsky, 96, of Iowa City, formerly of Lone Tree, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2005, at 11 a.m., at United Presbyterian Church in Lone Tree, with Loren Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery. Following the committal services, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the church. Visitation will be Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree. Memorials may be directed to United Presbyterian Church or the Friends of the Library.

      Mrs. Horesowsky was born Feb. 2, 1909, in Washington County, to Earl and Cora (Harvey) Burroughs. On May 18, 1933, she married Harry Horesowsky in Cedar Rapids.
