Gladys O. Sammons
Gladys O. Sammons, 82, of Rome died at 8:41 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 1999, at Henry County Health Center.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Rome Baptist Church. Burial will be in Grant Cemetery, west of Rome. Visitation began at noon today, Monday, at Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. There will be no family visitation at the funeral home. The casket will remain closed. A memorial has been established to Rome Baptist Church.
