Glen B. Leichty

Glen B. Leichty, 76 of Wayland, died Thursday, December 21, 2006 at Park Place in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

Funeral Services have been set for 1:30 PM Sunday, December 24, 2006 at the Bethel Mennonite Church with Pastor Phil Slabaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon till 6:00 Saturday at the Bethel Mennonite Church with the family present from 2-4:00 PM in the afternoon. Beatty Funeral Home of Washington and Wayland is assisting with arrangements. A memorial in the name of Glen B. Leichty has been established to the Bethel Mennonite Church.

Glen was born October 3, 1930 in Noble, Iowa the son of William Benjamin and Ada Mae (Roth) Leichty. He graduated from Wayland High School in 1949 and was united in marriage to Luora Mae Roth on June 2, 1955 at the Wellman Mennonite Church.
