Glen Honsey Widmer August 28, 1921 - November 21, 2003

Glenn Honsey Widmer, 82, of Wayland, formerly of Washington, died on Friday, Nov. 21, 2003, at Parkview Home in Wayland.

      The graveside memorial service with military rites will be at 2 p.m. today at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, with the Rev. Charles W. Smith officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington until 4 p.m. A memorial has been established to the Parkview Home in Wayland.

      Survivors include two sons, George Widmer of Washington and John Widmer of Fairfield; two daughters, Avis Smith of Webster City and Ann Moore of Washington; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

      In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and a son.
