Glen R. Shelangoski December 6, 1950 - June 12, 2005

Glen Ray "Doc" Shelangoski, 54, of Fairfield, died at 2:15 a.m. Sunday, June 12, 2005, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      The funeral was today at 10:30 at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Keevin Koch officiating. Following cremation, burial will be at a later time at Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham. A memorial has been established.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Shelangoski of Mt. Pleasant; a daughter, Lora Shelangoski of Fairfield; his mother of Birmingham; two brothers, Ernie Shelangoski of Birmingham, and Wayne Shelangoski of Fairfield; five sisters, Marilyn Powell of Ottumwa, Shirley Shelangoski and Judy Shelangoski, both of California, Cheryl Huntoon of Fairfield, and Beverly Taylor of Fairfield.

      He was preceded in death by his father and an infant sister, Marsha.
