Glen William Stoddard

      WELLMAN - Glen William Stoddard, 87, of Wellman died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, at Parkview Manor in Wellman, following a brief illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 30, at Salem Mennonite Church near Kinross, with the Rev. John Mark Miller and the Rev. Wilford Beachy officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 t0 8 p.m., Friday, at the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wellman, with the family present from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A general memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Stoddard was born Oct. 5, 1915, in Tama, the son of John H. and Blanche (Krepela) Stoddard. He married Louisa Murphy in October 1952. She preceded in him death in April 1975. In March 1976, he married Martha Bender.
