Glenn D. 'Cotton' Palmer
KALONA-Glenn D. "Cotton" Palmer, 93, of Mission, Texas, formerly of Keota, died Sunday, May 23, 2004, at Mission Hospital in Mission, Texas, following a brief illness.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 28, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Burial will be in Keota Public Cemetery in Keota. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home. Masonic services by Farmers Masonic Lodge No. 168 of Kinross will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Palmer was born on Jan. 1, 1911, in Keota, to Perry and Lula Belle (Dill) Palmer. He married Lola Mae White on Jan. 2, 1934, in Princeton, Ill.
