Glenn Ellis Helterbran

Glenn Ellis Helterbran, 86, of Hillsboro, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hillsboro Cemetery in Hillsboro, with the Rev. Dave Doerr officiating. Family visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Memorials can be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.behnerfh.com.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Eugene Helterbran and wife Patsy Skaggs of Keosauqua and Gary Glenn Helterbran and wife Caroline of Hillsboro; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harry Helterbran.
