Glenn Resor Parrott

Glenn Resor Parrott, 95, of Washington, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, in the United Presbyterian Home in Washington following a short illness.

      Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 21, in the United Methodist Church in Washington with the Rev. Julie Poulsen officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Danville. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday in the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Washington United Methodist Church Youth Program or the Burlington First United Methodist Church Building Fund.

      Mr. Parrott was born Oct. 21, 1912, in Danville, the son of Eugene and Stella (Resor) Parrott. He married Jane Carlson in Michigan. She died in 1995. He later married Mary Carlson in Hugoton, Kan.
