Glenna Louise Huff, 96, of Keosauqua, IA, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021,
at the Keosauqua Health Care Center. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the Zion Bible Church, 15918 Hwy. 16, Douds, IA, with Pastor Phil Ross officiating. Burial will be held in the Fellows Cemetery in Keosauqua immediately following the service. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua beginning at 2:00 p.m. with the family present to greet friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Glenna's honor may be directed to the Missions fund at the Zion Bible Church or to Every Step Hospice of Mt. Glenna Louise Huff was born October 10, 1924, in Rural Wyconda, MO, at the home of her parents, Walter and Bessie Black Dannenhauer. She attended rural schools in Clark County, MO, and Van Buren County, IA. Glenna graduated from Bonaparte High School in 1942. She enjoyed teaching Van Buren County Rural Schools in 1942-1946. Her greatest pleasure was being with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Glenna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, and playing piano for S.S., Bible School and church. She also taught piano students for several years. She was a member of the Zion Bible Church and a former member of the Van Buren Retired School Personnel.
Glenna married Lester Stecker on December 26, 1943. They later divorced. On February 17, 1996, she married R. Maurice Huff at an Anson, MO, church. They moved to Keosauqua in 1997. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2017.
Glenna is survived by five children, Raymond (Norma) Stecker of Prairie City, IA, Dale (Monica) Stecker of Knoxville, TN, Connie (David) Westercamp of Keosauqua, IA, Danny Stecker of Ames, IA, and Terry (Kathy) Stecker of Hanover Park, IL; seventeen grandchildren, Lindley (Kerry), Chalyne (Scott), Kristin (Mike), Nathan (Necia), Colette (Ryan), Doug (Becky), Kelly (Eric), Teresa (David), Scott (Sarah), Cory (Nate), Katie (Nate), Cassie (Jace), Kylee (Hagen), David (Jennifer), Christopher, Kayla (Matthew) and Kaci; twenty-two great-grandchildren; three stepsons, Dan (Ann), Jon (Patty), and David (Karen); several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends.
Glenna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, R. Maurice Huff; a stepson, Phil Huff; one brother, Claudie, and a sister-in-law, Lois Dannenhauer.
