Gordon Earl Shelman, 65 of North Liberty, passed away on January 11, 2023, in North Liberty following a brief illness.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 AM on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City with the funeral service to follow at 11 AM. Interment will be at the Ridgewood Cemetery in North Liberty immediately following the service.

Gordon is survived by his father, Gordon L. Shelman of Washington, IA, daughter Toni (Chad) Vaughn of North Liberty, IA, son Scott (Stephanie) Shelman of North Liberty, IA, sister Meleia Shelman (John) Kanselaar of Oskaloosa, IA, brother Matt (Brenda) Shelman of Burlington, IA, brother Nick (Rhonda) Shelman of Washington, IA, six grandchildren, Dustin Vaughn, Zach Rouse, Alex Vaughn, Blake Vaughn, Caleb Shelman, Ryan Shelman, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother.
