Gordon Hayes Day

      Gordon Hayes Day, 80, of Ollie, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      The funeral is set for 11 a.m. Thursday at Prairie View United Methodist Church near Ollie, with the Rev. David Nolte and the Rev. Harlan Van Voorst officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery.

      Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Gould Funeral Home in Richland. A memorial to the family may be left at the funeral home or church or may be mailed to the family at 205 N. Second St., Ollie 52576.

      Mr. Day was born Feb. 1, 1928, in Hayesville, the son of Kenneth and Esther Day of Martinsburg. He married Leora Ashe in Richland Feb. 23, 1949. She survives.
