Gordon R. Jedele
KALONA - Gordon R. Jedele, 82, of Kalona, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Celebration of Life services will begin at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona, with the Rev. Mitchell Otto officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time, Wednesday. A memorial has been established for Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
Mr. Jedele was born Feb. 25, 1923, in Denison, to Charlie and Freida (Rath) Jedele. He married Darlene Joyce Clark on May 13, 1944, in Denison. She preceded him in death in 2000.
