Gordon W. Stainbrook
Gordon W. Stainbrook, 92, died Saturday, Jan. 3, at his home.
He was born Feb. 27, 1916, the son of Irene and Guy Stainbrook in LaPorte.
He served in the U.S. Navy, and worked as a foreman for North American Aviation in California before moving back to Iowa and farming the family farm in Hazelton. He taught and coached at Hazelton, Bussey, West Des Moines Valley High School and Des Moines Technical High School, retiring in 1980.
