Grace G. Lemmon
Grace G. Lemmon, 101, of Washington, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at the United Presbyterian Home in Washington following a brief illness.
Celebration of life services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Dan McClure officiating. Burial will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. A memorial has been established to Prairie Flower Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lemmon was born Nov. 1, 1906, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Jacques and Hilda (Johnson) Hurter. She married John W. Lemmon on May 10, 1933, in Chicago.
