Grace M. Chapman

      Grace M. Chapman, 89, of Eldon, died Saturday, July 21, 2007, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

      A memorial service is being planned at a later date in Flagler Beach, Fla., with inurnment in St. Mary's Cemetery in Korona, Fla. The body has been cremated.

      Memorials may be directed to the Welcoming Family of Faith building fund at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fairfield or Iowa Heritage Foundation of the American Gothic House Center in Eldon.

      Kremer Funeral Home in Eldon is in charge of arrangements.

      Mrs. Chapman was born Aug. 19, 1917, in Rochester, N.Y., the daughter of Charles and Priscilla White McCabe. She married Stanley Chapman Sept. 14, 1940, in Cherrydale, Va. He died Oct. 3, 1997.
