Griffith William Davies

      Griffith William Davies, 55, died Wednesday, May 27, 2007, from complications from a double lung transplant he received May 14.

      A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at United Temple on the Plaza in Kansas City, Mo. A reception will follow at The Power Plant in Parkville, Mo.

      In lieu of flowers, donations to the Griff Davies Medical Fund may be made at any Bank of America or may be mailed to Griff Davies Medical Fund, 104 NW 13th St., Parkville, MO 64152.

      Cards may be sent to 426 N. Jefferson, Liberty, MO 64068.

      Mr. Davies was born Feb. 10, 1952, in Mattoon, Ill., the son of John David Davies and Gene Maxine Yakey Davies.
