Guy E. Stacy

      Guy E. Stacy, 82, of Wayland, formerly of Brighton, died Monday, March 5, 2007, at Washington County Hospital following a brief illness.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Brighton United Church, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton.

      Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will be present from 7-8:30 p.m. Masonic Lodge services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

      Memorials have been established to Brighton First Responders or Parkview Home in Wayland.

      Mr. Stacy was born Jan. 19, 1925, in Jefferson County, the son of Harry and Verna Guy Stacy. He married Eva Irene Waterhouse Oct. 29, 1944, in Brighton. She died in 1998.
