Guy E. Stacy

      WAYLAND - Guy E. Stacy, 82, of Wayland, formerly of Brighton, died Monday, March 5, 2007 in the Washington County Hospital following a brief illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 9 in the Brighton United Church with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Masonic services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton. Memorials may be made to the Brighton First Responders or the Parkview Home in Wayland.

      Mr. Stacy was born Jan. 19, 1925 in Jefferson County, the son of Harry and Verna (Guy) Stacy. He married Eva Irene Waterhouse on Oct. 29, 1944 in Brighton.
