Gwen H. Nelson
Gwen H. Nelson, 96, of Washington, died Thursday, June 30, 2005, at Halcyon House, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, July 1, at United Methodist Church in Washington with the Rev. Julia Poulsen officiating. Family visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, at the church. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Mrs. Nelson was born July 6, 1908, to Leonard K. and Mary (Crane) Hatch in Central City. She married Theron M. Nelson in Central City on June 6, 1932.
