H. Earl Capps
VINTON-H. Earl Capps, 73, of Newhall, formerly of Washington, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 10:30 a.m., at Atkins Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church in Atkins. Burial will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, at Church of The Brethren Cemetery in Richland. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the church in Atkins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 1 p.m. at Prairie Flower Baptist Church in Washington. A general memorial has been established. Overton-Van Steenhuyse Funeral Home in Vinton is in charge of arrangements.
