H. Pauline McMath September 25, 1924 - April 1, 2004

H. Pauline McMath, 79, of Springdale, died on Thursday, April 1, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6 at Springdale United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ruth Blayer officiating. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. in Winfield-Scott Cemetery in Winfield. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 5 at Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. A memorial has been established.

Survivors include a son, Joe and his wife Karen McMath of West Branch; a daughter, Tana and her husband Richard Sabourin of West Branch; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Paisley of Winfield; and a brother-in-law, Dale McMath of Orange Beach, Ala.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
