Hannah F. Dameron, 29, of Mount Pleasant, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The Memorial Celebration of Life for Hannah will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the Heatilator Center for the Performing Arts, 307 E. Monroe St., Mount Pleasant. Pastor Monte Knudsen of Faith Christian Outreach Church will officiate. There will be no family visitation. Kimzey Funeral Home, 213 N. Main St., Mount Pleasant, is handling the arrangement.

Hannah Faith Dameron was born June 29, 1992, in Mount Pleasant. She was the daughter of David Andrew and Robin Lee (Smith) Dameron. She attended school in Mount Pleasant, where she was active in Track, Volleyball and Cheerleading. She continued her education at Kirkwood Community College and Southeastern Community College, pursuing a degree in nursing. During her studies, she became a certified CNA and worked at Arbor Court. She loved swimming, most especially at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Those thankful for sharing in Hannah's life include her mother, Robin of Mount Pleasant; her father and stepmother, Dave and Teresa Dameron of Mount Pleasant; her brother, Sully Dameron of Kansas City, Mo.; her grandmother, Virginia Lee of Mount Pleasant; her stepsiblings, Ashley Huston and Samantha O'Connor, both of New London, and Matt Huston of Cedar Rapids; her aunts and uncles, Terri (Grant) Walker, Krista Martin, Robert (Linda) Dameron, Jan (Rich) Robinson and Carolyn (Tom) Walker; and a host of cousins who have settled in many different locations throughout the United States.
Her grandparents, Robert H. Smith, Robert and Evelyn Dameron and Michael Lee, all preceded Hannah in death.
