Hannah Irene Floyd

Hannah Irene Floyd, 19, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16 in an accident at 3 Forks Ranch in Colorado where she was working for the summer.

She was born in Decatur, Ala., Dec. 10, 1987 to Donald and Mary (Hauenstien) Floyd.

Hannah spent most of her life in Wayland, attending WACO and W-MU schools before moving to Alabama in 2004. She received an advanced diploma from Vinemont High School in Vinemont, Ala. in 2006. She was an honor student at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Ala.

Hannah was a joy to everyone around her. She was always smiling and loved being with her friends and family. She also loved being outdoors.

She is survived by her parents Donald and Mary Floyd, a sister, Gina Floyd of Wayland, and a brother, Daniel Floyd of Vinemont, Ala.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday Aug. 22 at Fern Cliff Evangelical Church at 3 p.m. The funeral will be held at Moss Funeral Home in Cullman, Ala. on Saturday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m.

A memorial fund for the purchase of a headstone has been established in lieu of flowers.
