Harlan E. Ball March 20, 1923 - May 10, 2005

      Harlan Edward Ball, 82, of Donnellson, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at West Point Care Center.

      The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 13 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Burlington, with the Rev. Russell Kobs officiating. A graveside service will be at 4 p.m. in Charleston Cemetery in Charleston. There will be no visitation. A memorial has been established. Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Ivan Ball and Alan Ball, both of Donnellson, and Stanley Ball of Montrose; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bettye Boley of Cottonwood, Ariz.

      He was preceded in death by his parents.
